The APAC Digital & Platform Services Change team within CIB Operations was established to drive strategic platform change and digital solution change for the APAC Markets Operations organization. As part of the APAC DPS Change Team, you will be driving change and transformation across APAC Branch, Japan, China Market Ops and your primary focus for this role would be to delivery projects for the APAC Sec Ops businesses in JPMorgan Chase. You will help the firm execute on our business and operational strategies on a regional and global scale, leading the delivery across varied projects covering market expansion, improving the client experience, implementing strategic end-state system architecture, and driving scale and mitigating risk in the Operations function.

You will lead end-to-end delivery of projects, partnering closely with teams across Operations, Technology, as well as Product Development, Business Management, Sales & Trading, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and other corporate functions. As project manager you will drive execution of strategic and tactical initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, including solutioning, process design, resource management and reporting of status to stakeholders and senior management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Manager/Business Analyst leading the delivery of strategic, process improvement and regulatory projects.
• Identify business model, operational process, systems, and resourcing impacts resulting from these initiatives; working in partnership with key stakeholders including business, technology, compliance, risk, and finance as required.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree [Finance, Business, Accounting]
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Project Management / Change Management experience within the financial services industry is required.
• Prior roles/experience in Markets Operations is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Settlements Operations experience is preferred.
• Proven project management and organizational skills, able to take the lead in unstructured situations, including seizing new opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with all types of stakeholders, at all levels across the business areas including senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Independent, proactive worker with the ability to quickly understand complex subject matter and demonstrate critical thinking.
• Experience in data transformation tools, such as Alteryx and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView/Qliksense)
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.
• Problem solving skills – the candidate must demonstrate exceptional judgment and the ability to independently identify and escalate key issues, obtain appropriate information form further analysis, and develop actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:

• Strong understanding of different technological development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and design techniques with ability to successfully lead regardless of approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Alteryx, UI Path is preferred.
