As a member of the Markets Asset Servicing Operations Income team, you would need to provide centralized asset servicing support across multiple products like across Prime Services, Equities and Fixed Income supporting collection / payment of income events with client / counterparties / Depo across different region / Markets (Asia, EMEA and WHEM Markets)
Job Summary:
As an Associate in the Markets Asset Servicing team, you are responsible for Income events across EMEA, WHEM & ASIA markets. You are required to ensure timely and accurate processing of income events, collection / payment of claims, timely reconciliation cash, stocks, wash across our Fixed Income / Equity and Prime Business. We work closely with internal stakeholders including trading desks, sales, finance and other operations team and work in partnership with clients, custodians, agents, depo, and 3rd party service providers. You will be responsible to execute goals and objectives set up to deliver core business deliverables. This interaction enables employees to gain an insight into other operations and obtain a high-level knowledge of the diverse range of the J.P. Morgan products.

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for clients / internal stakeholder such as Trading desk, Middle Office, Finance and other operations team within Markets Operations for all escalations and ensure adequate coverage by team
- Ensure partnership with external and internal counterparties, timely responses /completion of outstanding payable and receivable coupon claims, Repo claim and Redemptions activities
- Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off, including client service inquiry resolution, claims, cash and stock break reconciliation
- Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Process Indicators (KRIs) in a proactive way
- Escalate production-related issues, ensuring continuity of service while simultaneously managing effective resolution with key stakeholders
- Effectively lead teams toward robust set of delivery milestones. Understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies within the processes
- Perform periodic end to end process review, identify gaps if any & collaborate with control partners and relevant stakeholders to remediate process gaps
- Provide leadership - setting clear goals, strategies, and goals for the function. Deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients/stakeholders
- Perform process re-engineering activities, support automations, identify and close process gaps, support remediation activities
- Experience of driving change to improve team processes to delivery efficiency and/or reduce risk
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- ~7 - 9 years of relevant experience, preferably with Asset Servicing background covering Income and Corporate action or any Market Operations processing background
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (partnership mindset)
- Teamwork skills – the candidate must be flexible in his/her/their work style and be able to work appropriately with stakeholders and colleagues at all level
- Strong organizational and time management skill
- Ability to manage tight delivery timelines, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals
- Ability to work with autonomy within a team environment
- Ability to collaborate with clients and effectively manage client expectations
Preferred Qualifications, Certifications, and Technical Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree [Finance, Accounting, Business]
- Business analytics or project management certifications a plus
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using automation tools a plus (e.g., Python, Alteryx, Tableau)
