Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager with a strong interest in investment technologies, quantitative research, and project management to support the Quant research and development functions.

As an Associate Product Manager on our Quantitative Product team, you’ll partner with quants, technology, and portfolio managers to deliver advanced portfolio optimization and trade-validation tools. You’ll own project plans, user stories, and release tracks end-to-end—ensuring our investment-tech roadmap advances on time and with high quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong project management mindset, experience working with different stakeholders, and a solid understanding of the investment management ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of portfolio optimization techniques and develop a backlog based on firm priorities. Understand the required investment outcomes and design structures and write detailed JIRA stories along with creating initiative documentation and user facing presentations.
  • Coordinate feature, regression and UAT across the entire SDLC and verify integrity of test plans. Monitor release readiness, drive release checklists, and liaise with stakeholders for end-to-end deployment.
  • Own project planning, milestone tracking and JIRA story writing. Facilitate sprint planning and stand-ups. Manage project timelines, release coordination and management, stakeholder updates, and research documentation.
  • Act as the central coordination point across quant researchers, product managers, and tech developers. Create dashboards and reporting frameworks for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with engineering teams to define requirements for: Scenario analysis and Backtesting tools. Parameter tuning interfaces. Quant analytics visualization dashboards.
  • Support data engineers in data pipeline needs for research validation. Translate research requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Partner with portfolio managers to capture qualifying criteria for trades and portfolios. Work with other technology, product, compliance, sales & marketing partners to ensure total alignment and establish clear channels of communication. Develop project plans, track progress, and ensure delivery of quant initiatives.
  • Present updates, milestones, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 4 years in product/project management with a background in Finance, Technology and/or Quant Research.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; Master’s degree.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in financial services or investment technology is preferred.
  • Experience with Python, R, or MATLAB for portfolio analysis preferred.
