Job Summary
As Cross Border Tax Enablement lead, Associate/Vice President, within the People Movement team, you will play a pivotal role in the global Cross Border Tax organization through hands-on delivery of intelligent automation and robotics solutions. Collaborating closely with the Global Cross Border Tax team and the India-based Cross Border Tax Center of Excellence (CoE), you will independently design, self-develop, and implement automation tools to drive process improvements and strategic projects. This organization oversees Global Mobility, Business Traveler Tax, and other Cross Border Tax programs, including for U.S. Persons Employed Abroad and Special Work Arrangements. Reporting to the APAC lead for People Movement in Singapore, you will be based in Mumbai.
Job responsibilities:
- Intelligent Automation Delivery: Independently identify, design, self-develop and implement intelligent automation and robotics solutions (e.g., Alteryx, UI Path, LLM, Tableau) to optimize tax processes, automate routine tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and AI to refine systems, data, and processes within the Cross Border Tax organization.
- Project Management: Manage and deliver strategic projects focused on transforming tax operations, ensuring successful deployment of automation solutions within scope, time, and budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Global Cross Border Tax team and the India-based Cross Border Tax CoE, sharing automation best practices and driving process efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with key stakeholders to develop and manage controls, quality assurance, metrics, and reporting, utilizing automation tools to evaluate and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning: Support the strategic planning of tax programs, integrating automation and AI to address the impact of international tax legislation on operations.
- Complex Issue Resolution: Apply automation and data analytics to resolve complex tax issues, providing strategic insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Global Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with global tax program colleagues across multiple time zones, ensuring consistent and automated program implementation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5+ years in HR, Payment, or related operations, with a proven track record of hands-on project and process improvement using self-developed automation tools.
- Demonstrated success in supporting operations, with a focus on quality, risk mitigation, and effective service delivery through automation.
- Direct experience in automating HR processes, delivering measurable efficiency gains across diverse business functions.
- Skilled in managing complex, large-scale projects, including the end-to-end delivery of automation solutions.
- Strong commitment to improving user experience, operational resilience, and continuous process improvement through robotics and AI.
- Robotics Automation Delivery: Advanced proficiency in Alteryx, UI Path, LLM, Tableau, and similar tools for automation and data analysis, with a track record of independently developing and delivering automation projects.
- Exceptional personal leadership skills, with experience working autonomously and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and consensus-building skills.
- Expertise in maintaining and managing confidential data securely, including automation of data controls.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in Tax, Payment Operations, Global Mobility, Accounting, Money Movement, or Payroll, with hands-on automation delivery in these domains.
