Job Description
Join our team at JPMorganChase, where you'll play a crucial role in managing the pre- and post-trading life cycle operations. Your focus on cash movements, funding coordination, and process improvements will be key to enhancing operational efficiency and driving success.
As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of pre- and post-trading life cycles across all asset classes, with a primary focus on cash movements in and out of client accounts and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts. You will coordinate with other business lines to ensure proper funding, applying your knowledge of trade lifecycle processes to identify and resolve issues while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. Your success will depend on your ability to actively listen, ask insightful questions, and establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as manage projects and influence outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of market products and emerging technologies, directly impacting the team's goals and performance. Job responsibilities
- Oversee new firm account openings and ensure compliance with documented controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams on new business initiatives.
- Manage daily reporting activities and supervise global service teams, providing escalation and root cause analysis directly to Senior Management.
- Partner with Financial Control, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure accurate mapping, reconciliation, and attestation of balance sheet accounts.
- Lead strategic projects and process improvements, including automation solutions, to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze stock records, commission postings, and dormant accounts, investigating exceptions and implementing solutions for regulatory and operational issues.
- Manage cash movements into and out of client accounts, ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliation of funds.
- Collaborate with other business lines to facilitate proper funding, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements, utilizing knowledge of automation technologies to enhance efficiency. Participate in projects related to trade lifecycle operations, assisting in the planning and execution stages to meet set objectives.
- Develop a foundational understanding of market products and regulations, applying this knowledge to daily operations and decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Baseline knowledge of financial markets, transaction lifecycle, and cash movement coordination across business lines.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience applying process improvement methodologies and automation technologies to drive operational efficiency.
- Ability to build productive relationships and demonstrate proficiency in stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with project management principles, including assisting with project planning and execution.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in a professional environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in Economics or Industrial Engineering enhancing understanding of complex financial operations.
- Experience in finance industry operations, demonstrating capability in managing and optimizing financial processes.
- Proficiency in VBA, adding value through automation and efficiency improvements in financial operations.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx
