Party Reference Data drives business growth, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance by enhancing data quality, transparency, and operational excellence across the firm.

Job Summary

As a Service Desk and Testing Analyst within the PRD Service Desk & Testing Team, you act as a primary point of contact for Party Reference Data end users and stakeholders, supporting data and functionality inquiries across multiple platforms. You collaborate with Reference Data Technology, Product Owners, and Operations teams to analyze and resolve functional, data, and technical issues, while also conducting comprehensive testing for product enhancements, operational releases, and regulatory reporting. Your role is central to improving client experience, simplifying operations, and supporting the firm’s transformation of party reference data management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily production issue calls and provide timely updates to end users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve functional, data, and technical issues.
  • Publish regular metrics, KPIs, and trend analyses to senior management, recommending process improvements.
  • Maintain and update knowledge bases, FAQs, and self-service resources to empower users.
  • Perform exhaustive testing across multiple environments, ensuring application behavior aligns with business requirements.
  • Escalate high-risk defects and coordinate with Product Owners and Development Teams to ensure timely resolution and project delivery.
  • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and demos to ensure stakeholders are informed about product enhancements and operational changes.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in a financial services organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in manual functional testing and solid understanding of Agile framework and project lifecycle standards.
  • Proficiency in communication and presentation, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Experience with JIRA, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, Business Objects, and SQL.
  • Background in automating testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Knowledge of reference data and its lifecycle within financial services.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and contribute as a collaborative team player.
