As a Trade Support Associate within our Agency Securities Finance Operations, you will manage the end-to-end account management process for our global Agency Securities Lending business. You will ensure accurate and timely setup of lender and borrower accounts, validate processing completeness, and resolve discrepancies with counterparties. You will collaborate closely with global operations and internal stakeholders to optimize processes and drive automation. Your role will focus on maintaining high standards of compliance, quality, and efficiency. You will have the opportunity to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing success of our team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Securities Lending account management processes
  • Set up new and incremental lender and borrower accounts across Agency Lending systems within SLA
  • Validate processing tasks for completeness and accuracy
  • Resolve discrepancies and queries with counterparties efficiently
  • Escalate exceptions to senior management in a timely manner
  • Certify accuracy and completeness of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on an ongoing basis
  • Document and report proposed process changes for approval before implementation
  • Collaborate with global operations to understand and optimize account management processes
  • Conduct gap analysis for onboarding, documentation, and static setup requirements
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiency and automation
  • Share best practices and support team development

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in Securities Lending, Settlements, Trade Support/Middle Office, or COACs role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of global financial markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with software tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Tableau, and Alteryx Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and procedures

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including building macros
  • Experience with process automation tools
  • Knowledge of AVATAR platform for account management
  • Experience conducting gap analysis and process improvement
  • Ability to develop and share best practices
  • Experience in managing change and documentation processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
