As a Data Use Management Analyst in the Legal Data Office, you guide stakeholders through the data use lifecycle, ensuring every data request meets the highest standards of governance and compliance. You work closely with cross-functional teams, support decision-making, and help drive a culture of responsible data use. Your contributions enable secure, ethical, and innovative applications of legal data, supporting both business transformation and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for legal data use
  • Guide stakeholders through data sharing and approval workflows
  • Collaborate with Controls, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and other teams to review and approve data use cases
  • Facilitate meetings and prepare materials to support decision-making and escalation processes
  • Monitor approved data use cases for compliance and support periodic reviews
  • Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements related to data use and monitoring
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the data use lifecycle
  • Support the Legal Data Use Council’s governance and reporting needs

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, communications, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Attention to detail and results orientation
  • Project management skills with ability to deliver high-quality work on multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools
  • Experience in financial services or a regulated environment
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with data management best practices
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and prepare decision-making materials
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting on compliance activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
