Senior Product Delivery Associate - Open Source Governance

As a Senior Product Delivery Associate in Engineering Platforms and Services in the Office of CTO, you are trusted with enabling the delivery of products in a stable and scalable way. Work with cross-function teams, build key relationships, and enable the product to continuously deliver value.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
  • Supports the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitors adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Raises blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
  • Serve our internal and external developer customers by fulfilling open source consultation requests
  • With the Open Source Governance team, and input from other leaders of Engineering Platforms and Service (ESP),, drive the execution and realization of the open source roadmap and the delivery of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • With the Developer Experience Lead, identify and implement ways to streamline the Open Source contribution process both internally and externally
  • Identify and prioritize open source consumption (inbound) and contribution (outbound) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and associated metrics

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated performance in either product management or relevant domain area
  • Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities
  • Experience in product deployment processes
  • Understands the fundamentals of open source including licensing, contributions, maintainers, and GitHub
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to foster partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals
  • Able to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentations skills targeting various stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Some experience coding or developing open source software or have contributed to open source projects before
  • Desire to be in a support/product role
  • Familiarity with contribution tooling, CI/CD tools, and GitHub
  • Comfort working in/around the financial services industry a plus, including the importance of control objectives and role of control procedures
  • Comfortable with the "working backwards" process, writing PR FAQs, Agile, Jira, Scrum experience
