As a Technology Support Lead in the Commercial & Investment Bank's Equities Tech team, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production services. Critical thinking while overseeing day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
- Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
- Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability
- Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
- Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
- Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Strong hold on Data Base
- Proficient in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Knowledge of front office trading applications
- Experience in Incident and Problem management
- Strong communication skills to translate technical language into meaningful business impact statements
- Have an understanding of the Agile methodology and an ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Demonstrates knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Experience executing on processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
- Practical experience with public cloud
