As a Daily Revenue Reporting Analyst in the Corporate & Investment Bank, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production and delivery of management reporting to senior business stakeholders. You will interact with Product Controllers, CFOs, and Business Managers, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of daily profit and loss reports. You will partner with business management to enhance controls and efficiency, support monthly and quarterly close processes, and provide admin support for in-house revenue reporting tools. You will also collaborate with technology and project teams to drive reporting enhancements and support ad-hoc analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as point of contact for Central P&A team and Line of Business Product Controllers
- Produce and distribute daily revenue reports to senior management and regulatory agencies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end business review processes
- Address queries and provide admin support for in-house revenue reporting tools
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information
- Interact extensively with technology teams on behalf of the business
- Liaise with project teams to ensure timely completion of MIS and technology initiatives
- Conduct ad-hoc MIS reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with technology teams to test application functionalities
- Partner with business management to enhance controls and efficiency over daily revenue reporting processes
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 1+ years of financial services industry experience
- Sound understanding of financial markets and instruments
- Familiarity with investment banking products
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams
- Ability to manage complex requirements and multitask under time pressure
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively with teams across different locations
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, VBA Macros, and Access
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality of work
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Knowledge of SQL, Macros, Python, QlikSense, Tableau, and other BI reporting tools
- Experience supporting financial reporting or product control functions
- Proven ability to drive process improvements
- Inclination towards technology and associated solutions
- Experience working in multinational organizations
