As a Risk Investments Oversight Analyst, you’ll work with the risk team to monitor strategic investments and new co-brand initiatives, generating thoughtful analytics and recommendations to risk and business executives regarding strategy, performance, and alignment with risk appetite, ensuring consistency with initial investment expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain periodic monitoring to provide management with comprehensive insights into emerging trends and the performance of strategic investments and co-brand initiatives.
- Attain a detailed understanding of key performance metrics and profitability drivers for strategic investments and co-brand partnerships, enabling the delivery of actionable insights across the investment lifecycle.
- Acquire a strong understanding of the practices and strategies of the investee companies, in order to provide context to executives.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and support risk executives with relevant information for their participation in discussions related to strategic investments and co-brand initiatives.
- Work effectively as an individual contributor and collaborative team member on simultaneous projects.
- Work well in a team environment, including cross-functional teams
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- BA or BS degree
- Background in statistics, econometric, or other quantitative field required
- Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information
- Familiarity with risk analytic techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
