As an Executive Director in Securities Services Sales in Mexico City, you will serve as a senior Sales & Client Executive for the Securities Services businesses focused on Institutional Clients across Latin America, including Central Banks, Public and Private Pensions, Banks and Broker Dealers, Corporations, Hedge Funds, Private Equities, and Family Offices. You will have direct client coverage responsibilities, lead a team of sales professionals, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the firm to deliver integrated solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and execute the Securities Services and Prime Financial Services sales strategy for Latin America, driving new business acquisition and organic growth across all countries in the region.
- Identify, prospect, and win new business with institutional clients, while managing and expanding relationships with existing clients, including ownership of commercial strategy, contractual negotiations, and cross-selling incremental business opportunities.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key LATAM clients, understanding their strategic objectives and delivering tailored solutions across Custody, Fund Services, Securities Lending, Prime Brokerage, Collateral Management, and Liquidity Solutions.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, updates, requests for proposals (RFPs), and presentations for clients or internal use, ensuring all materials meet brand and marketing standards.
- Develop and maintain industry and market expertise to maximize client business strategies, partnering with banking, markets, and asset management coverage to identify and execute on opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration and best practices across the region.
- Work effectively with internal partners across product, service, and operations to deliver best-in-class service to clients.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market players, competitors, and trends in the LATAM region, leveraging insights to inform business development and client engagement strategies.
- Represent J.P. Morgan at industry events, conferences, and client forums across Latin America.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- At least eight years’ experience in sales and trading, investment management, or similar client management roles, with a proven track record of success in the LATAM region.
- Demonstrated experience leading sales teams and managing complex client relationships at a senior level.
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish
- Strong client-facing skills, able to interact and influence at all levels of a client organization, including C-suite executives.
- Strategic, creative, and problem-solving skills, with solid written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with financial markets and investment products, including traditional asset classes and alternative products.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management, organizational, team-building, and planning skills.
