Job Summary
As a Reconciliation Analyst within Reconciliation Services, you ensure the integrity of the firm’s balance sheet by reconciling General Ledger and internal accounts. You will work closely with your team to resolve exceptions, document procedures, and support operational efficiency. As a part of this team, you will contribute to process improvements and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure effective reconciliation by understanding products and processes.
- Adhere to operational procedures for accurate and timely task completion.
- Support the team and team leader in delivering top-quality operations.
- Document procedures and identify needs for additional controls.
- Complete daily checklists and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve exceptions efficiently.
- Prepare case notes and share learnings with the team.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiency.
- Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Act as a backup for the team leader when required.
- Communicate process updates and escalate concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
- Perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Collaborate as a strong team player across functions and geographies.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
