AI/ML Solutions Product Portfolio Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Director to lead Product Operations for the AI/ML Solutions Product Portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring the portfolio is managed with operational excellence, strategic alignment, and robust governance. You will oversee the end-to-end operational management of the product portfolio, driving standardization, efficiency, and compliance across all product areas.
Job responsibilities
- Works across products and product lines to help ensure delivery against business objectives
- Executes the strategy for reporting and communications to support our portfolio management operations and change initiatives
- Oversees and coaches a team to best implement the strategy for adapting and executing the full product-line framework and ensures our core cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized
- Implements portfolio-level tracking of controls, financials, resourcing needs, and key prioritization decisions
- Drives operational excellence across all product areas, ensuring consistent, standardized, and efficient execution of processes and practices.
- Leads the implementation and oversight of FinOps strategies within each product area to optimize financial management and cost efficiency.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive product analytics framework, ensuring each product area defines KPIs and delivers timely, accurate measurement and reporting.
- Ensures robust internal controls and data integrity measures are embedded as standard practice across the portfolio to mitigate risk and maintain compliance.
- Manages product portfolio governance, including product approvals portfolio boundary definitions, and deployment scope management.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align product lifecycle management, risk controls, and operational processes with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously assess and improve portfolio organization, operational workflows, and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency, security, and resiliency.
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
- Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness and portfolio management initiatives
- Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Strong expertise in FinOps principles and financial management within product portfolios.
- Experience developing and managing product analytics frameworks with clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
- Deep understanding of governance, risk management, internal controls, and data integrity best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Customer and business-focused mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with AI/ML product ecosystems and technology portfolio management.
- Background in vendor management, compliance, and operational risk frameworks.
