As a Senior Product Associate in Branch Operations – Teller Mainframe Modernization, you leverage your product development expertise to drive the transition of legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions. You utilize user research and customer feedback to guide innovation and enhance existing products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you play a key role in shaping product strategy and ensuring successful modernization initiatives.
Job responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Technical Managers to identify opportunities aligned with customer and system needs, leveraging user research, architecture design, and discovery.
- Assess and plan for upstream and downstream impacts of new product features on the overall product experience.
- Support user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and identify valuable product features.
- Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality targets throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product management
- Proficient understanding of the product development lifecycle
- Experience with product lifecycle activities, including discovery and requirements definition
- Working knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Proven ability to lead mainframe-to-cloud migration programs
- Intermediate experience in Banking Operations
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with JIRA and Confluence, including dashboard creation and data analysis
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience working with multi-level management and complex organizations globally
- Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
