Fee Billing Data and Payment Lead - Vice President

The Fee Billing Data and Payment Lead (VP) will be responsible for shaping and executing the data and payment strategy for the Asset Management Fee Billing operations team. This leader will oversee the management of large-scale data and payment processes, drive the adoption of advanced analytics and automation, and ensure the highest standards of data quality, transparency, and operational excellence.
As a Fee Billing Data and Payment Lead in the Asset Management Fee Billing operations team, you will partner closely with Technology, Operations, and Business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, remediate complex data and payment issues, and proactively govern third-party data and payment providers. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set and execute the strategic vision for data and payment management within Fee Billing Operations, aligning with broader business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and continuously improve the data operating model and payment processes.
- Drive technology requirements and partner with Technology to enhance data reporting, oversight, and automation capabilities.
- Oversee and resolve complex data and payment remediation efforts, coordinating across Operations, Technology, and external partners.
- Establish and enforce a robust data and payment governance program over third-party providers, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Define and track team objectives and key results to support a proactive and forward-looking data and payment strategy.
- Lead advanced data analysis and ad-hoc queries to support business needs and inform decision-making.
- Increase straight-through processing rates for inbound data and payments, leveraging intelligent automation and process optimization.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Demonstrate data analytics and change management experience.
- Influence others without direct supervision.
- Provide quantifiable management reporting and present findings.
- Execute project management tasks effectively.
- Exhibit excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, negotiating, and organizational skills.
- Think strategically with the ability to adapt to change.
- Demonstrate team-building skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Possess 3+ years of client-facing work experience.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Services products.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science or Business Administration Degree.
- Show passion for learning new operating models, technologies, and industry trends.
