As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Commercial Banking, Trust and Security Fraud Architecture group, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains. Come help define the next generation Trust Platform.
Job responsibilities
- Drives architectural decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
- Provides technical guidance and direction to business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Leads evaluation of current technology and assessment of new technologies using established standards and frameworks.
- Represents product families in technical governance bodies and architecture forums.
- Proposes improvements and provides feedback to architecture governance practices.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in one or more architecture domains.
- Advocates for firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices within the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Influences peers and project stakeholders to adopt leading-edge technologies and best practices.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
- Ensures alignment of architecture with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Fosters a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience in the architecture discipline.
- Demonstrates hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Exhibits advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Possesses deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes.
- Applies practical experience with cloud-native architectures and platforms.
- Tackles design and functionality challenges independently with minimal oversight.
- Evaluates and recommends current and emerging technologies for future state architecture.
- Delivers high-volume, large-scale, and highly resilient enterprise solutions.
- Applies knowledge of authentication, identity management, and fraud detection best practices.
- Communicates effectively and manages stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Commits to fostering a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
- Demonstrates experience in financial crimes and fraud detection best practices.
- Exhibits expertise in authentication and identity management solutions.
- Delivers high-volume, large-scale, resilient enterprise platforms.
- Applies hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Possesses prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Understands regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
