As a Governance Analyst in our EMEA Outsourcing Governance team, you will spend each day ensuring that corporate outsourcing governance requirements are met, with a primary focus on fulfilling local jurisdiction requirements. You will navigate the complexities of data protection and outsourcing laws across EMEA locations, providing an additional layer of oversight and scrutiny. Your work will support the management of approximately 2,000+ outsourcing engagements within JPM SE EMEA WM and JPM Suisse, helping to maintain robust compliance and operational standards.
Job responsibilities
- Ensure Risk Assessment reviews for each engagements meets standards and local owners demonstrate active oversight of the service.
- Facilitate and run the Outsourcing Review Forum for WM engagements.
- Control period yearly affirmation reviews and scorecards/KPIs reviews are effective for each service.
- Train and support Local Owners in their function.
- Improve efficiency & controls on Local Governance
- Participate in Corporate Governance evolution, and PB EMEA Governance uplift to harmonise whenever possible.
- Manage Local owners in various team so that the meet their oversight obligations on outsourced processes.
- Run the regular BAU Checks (Scorecards, Training needs, chase up local owners, prepare monthly Pack per Departments)
- Act as the Secretary of Outsourcing Review forum, prepare agenda, minute notes for WM items.
- Prepare Executive Committee and Business Control Committee presentation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Work with Local Teams (Data Privacy/Protection, IT Risk, Risk, Legal, compliance etc) to review EMEA Governance evolution and integration within EMEA model
- Work with Compass CTPO Team to follow up on upcoming changes and issue log posted to Compass change team.
- Organized and methodical
- The candidate must be willing and expecting to have some degree of autonomy and drive.
- Perform data analysis and articulate options / make proposals
- The candidate must have natural abilities and strong interest in Keeping log of actions for self and others, Coordinate, follow up and communicate with various stakeholders at all level.
- Presentation and communications skills both written and verbal.
- Good knowledge of IT asset environment, outsourcing and business management related activities.
