Trading Services Analyst

You will play a crucial role in risk mitigation of the CPG trading group. You will perform trade controls across 4 trading businesses, make independent decisions, and build relationships with our key stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work in a controlled environment, where your judgment and decision-making skills will be highly valued.
As a Trading Services Analyst within CPG Trade Controls, you will play a pivotal role in the oversight and processing of trade orders, ensuring the smooth operation of our trading and portfolio management businesses. Your ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement will be developed in this role, as you work to enhance our processes and systems. With a focus on collaboration, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, while developing your influence and presentation skills to communicate data-driven insights and collaborate in impactful decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Navigate a complex global operations function within a large-scale financial services institution, whilst balancing the needs of key partners in the business, operations, and technology to achieve the right outcomes.
- Support XVA Trading desk in performing key risk management & oversight controls for executed trades.
- Build and support an effective control environment, set minimum standards, and develop new processes where required.
- Engage multiple teams to remediate and close issues and actions.
- Perform weekly collation of key business metrics that feed into multiple business control forums.
- Create traceability of all data and related controls for regulatory reviews.

- Confidence in communicating internally at all levels; you will be dealing with front office, middle office and technology teams daily who are both business and technically sophisticated.

- Strong time management skills, efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard.
