As a Trade Lifecycle Manager in the Swap Middle Office team, you play a key role in delivering outstanding client service and operational support for equities and fixed income swaps. You work with us to resolve complex inquiries, drive process improvements, and strengthen client relationships. Job responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for external clients on operational issues, including settlements, documentation, and account setup.
  • Act as the primary contact for Front Office Trading and Sales on trade bookings and issue resolution.
  • Define and execute agendas for external clients, including best practice reviews, KPIs, surveys, and STP rates.
  • Attend quarterly review meetings with external clients to discuss service and performance.
  • Coordinate with global partners in middle office and client service to drive process improvements and system changes.
  • Communicate open issues to clients and internal partners clearly and concisely.
  • Manage client queries, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
  • Oversee the trade life cycle, including allocations, settlements, corporate actions, affirmations, and regulatory reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with relevant partners to implement solutions.
  • Apply MIS and trend analysis to identify root causes and resolve issues with internal teams.
  • Liaise with clients, settlement teams, and third-party institutions to ensure timely and accurate trade capture and account maintenance.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Associate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ownership mentality, and ability to think creatively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Ability to escalate issues appropriately to management, controls, and front office teams.
  • Effective team player who can also work independently.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to drive and manage global initiatives and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Working understanding of Equities, Bonds, and Swap products and their process flows.
  • Advanced PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, including formula construction and reconciliation solutions.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5 years minimum experience in the industry is preferred
