The Payments area is responsible for bank Payment products, including Local Wires (TED, internal transfers), Tax Collections, Boleto Payment, Payroll and Settlement bank. The team works cross-functionally with Technology, Channels, Operations, Implementation, Customer Service, Sales, and Regulatory teams to ensure stable, scalable, and customer-centric payment solutions.
This role is critical to ensuring the stability, evolution, and quality of Payment products, acting as a bridge between strategy and day-to-day execution. As a Product Associate you will act as the main point of contact for assigned payment products, balancing operational excellence with product development and stakeholder management.
Job responsibilities
- Own and manage the day-to-day and evolution of Payment products, ensuring stability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
- Act as the primary product point of contact for Technology, Operations, Customer Services, Sales, Implementation, and other partner areas;
- Monitor product performance, incidents, and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper communication;
- Support and coordinate system migrations and technical evolutions related to payment products;
- Ensure products comply with regulatory, operational, and internal governance requirements;
- Contribute to product improvements by identifying gaps, pain points, and opportunities based on operational data and stakeholder feedback;
- Maintain clear and up-to-date product documentation and processes;
- Provide executive updates, workshops, and cross-functional forums;
- Participate in testing, validation, and go-live activities for new features and system changes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 4 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Knowledge in payments, banking products, financial services, or product/project roles;
- Solid understanding of payment flows and operational processes;
- Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously and prioritize effectively;
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with multiple stakeholders;
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with payment products;
- Exposure to system migrations or large-scale technology projects;
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial institutions;
- Experience working in cross-functional or agile environments;
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards and CNAB file layouts, dashboards, or data analysis tools.
