DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Drive the maturity of the software development lifecycle that helps with quality control of engineering deliverables. Perform deployment, administration, management, configuration, testing, and integration tasks related to the platforms in the Cloud environment. Architect and maintain ExpressRoute circuits, optimizing on-premises-to-Cloud connectivity for high-performance workloads. Define Cloud connectivity patterns for inter-region, intra-region, and on-prem/cloud integration, ensuring scalable and secure cloud architectures. Establish Cloud security policies, ensuring compliance and security-first mindset across all deployments. Implement Policy Framework to deploy policies at scale on Azure Cloud, enforcing governance and compliance. Guide and mentor the Cloud Platform engineering team, overseeing daily operations and conducting work evaluations. Participate in recruitment and onboarding. Manage performance objectives for team members to enhance the software development lifecycle. Contribute to the design and architecture of a multi-cloud network, ensuring high availability and scalability. Conduct and organize daily scrum for managing Product backlog deliverables for Networking groupwork with cloud networking and cloud architecture, security, and compliance. Enable secure Large Language Model (LLM) workspaces, automate provisioning via API, and secure access through enterprise-wide network policies. Design and optimize Cloud networking solutions for Next-Gen VDI, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance for virtual desktop workloads. Ensure proper network segmentation and access controls and maintain strict security boundaries between workloads. Contribute to the design and architecture of a multi-cloud network, ensuring high availability and scalability. Ensure monitoring and logging tools are utilized for real-time visibility and troubleshooting driving good service level objectives and metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, Infra Technology Specialist, Technical Support, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: architecting ExpressRoute circuits to enhance on-premises- to-cloud connectivity for high-performance workloads; defining scalable and secure cloud connectivity models for inter-region, intra-region, and on-prem/cloud integration; developing and enforcing cloud security policies to ensure adherence to compliance standards and a security-first mindset; implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools including Microsoft Code IDE, Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates; implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) using unit testing and behavioral testing frameworks in Python; employing monitoring tools including Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics Workspace for real-time visibility and troubleshooting to drive service level objectives and metrics; implementing network segmentation and control network flow using Network Security Groups (NSGs) to support a zero trust model; securing PaaS services with Azure Private and Service Endpoints; and utilizing Python for test automation.
