As a Business Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and change initiatives by leveraging data and process analysis. Your work will involve uncovering patterns in data, producing insightful reports, and developing solutions that support business strategies. You will be expected to apply your knowledge of automation and data analytics to solve problems and enhance processes. Your role will also involve collaborating with various teams, delegating tasks, and coaching others to ensure the successful completion of projects. Your decisions, guided by established practices, will have a significant impact on our short-term goals. Your ability to think strategically, innovate, and build effective teams will be key to your success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support the regulatory operating model across APAC Wholesale Payment Operations.
- Build automation and establish quality controls in process design and submission.
- Develop test cases, perform UAT, and document testing results for new solutions.
- Maintain and administer tactical solutions post-release, resolving defects and performance issues.
- Provide written documentation, version control, and user handbooks for applications and tools.
- Partner with key stakeholders to align processes and objectives.
- Participate in meetings and calls, providing accurate and timely information.
- Escalate issues appropriately and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Adhere to procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure compliance.
- Strive for more efficient and robust processes through continuous improvement.
- Document and analyze regulatory requirements and business needs across APAC.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Demonstrate experience in project management disciplines or significant stakeholder exposure.
- Influence partners and colleagues with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Adapt flexibly to changing business requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate effectively with business partners and functional support areas.
- Communicate updates and produce reporting suitable for senior management.
- Own accountability for functions performed and maintain a control and risk mindset
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Hold a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- Apply at least 2 years of relevant experience in banking or regulatory environments.
- Produce metrics and reporting tailored for senior management review.
- Respond promptly and remain accessible to stakeholders.
- Anticipate control gaps and determine appropriate remediation plans.
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop and implement functional requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of JIRA, Tableau, and Alteryx is a plus.
