As Vice President in Markets Asset Services, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a range of asset servicing functions, including Corporate Actions, Income Processing, Tax Services, and Proxy Voting. You will drive process optimization, risk management, and client service excellence, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and support business growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of asset servicing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support professional growth
  • Oversee end-to-end management of asset servicing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and enhance control frameworks, performing regular reconciliations and risk assessments across all asset servicing activities
  • Drive process re-engineering and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support scalability
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies and systems, managing implementation projects and change management efforts
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex queries and issues from internal and external stakeholders, including clients, agents, issuers, exchanges, and depositories
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure effective resolution of inquiries and delivery of superior client service
  • Oversee the review and resolution of outstanding breaks and exceptions across asset servicing functions
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, service delivery standards, and risk metrics

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Series 99 Certification required, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
  • Extensive experience in asset servicing, securities operations, or related financial services functions
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and implement innovative solutions
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other relevant technology platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads, manage critical deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and quality
  • Client-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering superior service and operational excellence
  • Fluency in English

  • Familiarity with global asset servicing regulations and industry best practices
