Job Summary
As a Loan Servicing Analyst in the Commercial Agency/Off-Balance Sheet team, you will perform loan servicing tasks on an assigned portfolio of loans as well as expand the scope and scale of our team. This may include interpreting loan documents, interacting with internal and external contacts, and oversight of deadlines. You may also lead projects that further build out the team structure and strategy.

Job responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze loan documents, ensuring accurate understanding and application of terms and conditions
  • Review and interpret Servicing Agreements and Purchase and Sale Agreements for GSE and CMBS offerings
  • Review and understand GSE Guide requirements for Commercial Loan Servicing
  • Assist in the management of an assigned loan portfolio, monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely completion of loan servicing tasks
  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, addressing conflicts and queries related to loan servicing and GSE investor requirements
  • Apply critical thinking to identify potential issues in loan servicing processes and propose solutions within established guidelines
  • Focus on continuous improvements and assist in implementing solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence
  • Contribute to team projects, assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to improve loan servicing efficiency and effectiveness

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in loan servicing operations, with a focus on interpreting and applying loan documents
  • Proficient knowledge of commercial mortgage products, financial services, lending and real estate compliance in addition to loan servicing standards
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts, with experience in facilitating discussions and creating collaborative solutions
  • Proven skills in critical thinking, with the ability to analyze loan servicing processes and propose modifications within established guidelines
  • Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and drive mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Proficiency in time management and organization, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to use data to make informed decisions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • GSE Multifamily/Commercial product experience, Strategy software knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client service operations, demonstrating strong interpersonal relationship skills and a commitment to enhancing client satisfaction and service delivery
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability, maintaining a positive and optimistic attitude during periods of change and adjusting to shifting conditions and priorities
  • Demonstrate teamwork and motivation, actively contributing to team success by being supportive, helpful, and collaborative in achieving common goals
  • Show a willingness to learn and receive direction, asking well-thought-out questions to enhance understanding and performance
  • Operate as a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, utilizing strong organizational skills to function efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining service level agreements

  • Work schedules will be full-time in office, on a 40-hour per week schedule.
