As a Business Analyst , you will support multiple business teams within Customer Operations Advancement, focusing on automated data analysis, process automation, and report development. This role requires strong communication skills to engage with analysts and managers at all levels, translating business needs into effective, automated solutions using Intelligent Solution tools, while ensuring firmwide controls and governance are maintained throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end configuration process for automation requests from the business, leveraging Intelligent Solution tools.
- Manage delivery of multiple small/medium projects, driving engagement and progress with stakeholders.
- Lead project stakeholders from ideation to production, ensuring quality, timeliness, and proper approvals.
- Ensure adherence to firmwide controls and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Escalate issues and risks appropriately, collaborating with stakeholders for resolution and prevention.
- Participate in process improvement and controls meetings, supporting initiatives aligned with firmwide policies for intelligent solutions, user tools, and report management.
- Drive adoption and implementation of new automation technologies, including but not limited to Alteryx, Xceptor, and Tableau.
- Support certification and completion of IAHUB (Intelligent Automation Hub) and manage ISMSDO Confluence site for HL Customer operations Servicing.
- Create executive-level presentations and status updates for clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking all initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting of origins, impacted parties, changes, and timing.
- Use actionable insights and dashboard data for strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Process Improvement, Controls, or a related role, or relevant qualifications in these areas
- Strong technical aptitude in MS Word, Access, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint for procedures, process maps, data analysis, and presentations.
- willingness to learn and pass the Alteryx Core Certification exam required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration, escalation, and procedure development.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and independently.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver products or solutions requiring cross-team collaboration and strong analytical and problem-solving skills for report/data review and assessment.
- Ability to work independently, manage time and multiple activities efficiently, and execute responsibilities with limited supervision.
- Experience managing stakeholders at all organizational levels and partnering with technical teams.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and strong organizational skills and Experience generating and monitoring completion of reports.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with various management styles and levels.
- Analytical mindset with independent judgment and keen attention to detail, ability to quickly comprehend information from oral and written documentation.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills and Appreciation for controls and quality issues.
- Knowledge of Home Lending applications and business operations is an advantage.
- Experience developing Alteryx workflows preferred and familiarity with automation tools (Alteryx, UiPath, Tableau); SQL knowledge a plus.
- Prior audit, compliance, controls, and/or quality assurance experience is an advantage.
- Technical knowledge of SharePoint site maintenance and experience with project/foundational oversight is an advantage
