As a Senior Associate Quant Analytics within Banking Payments analytics, you will support the Wires and International Payments Product Team. You will use your analytical expertise to make data actionable, driving product strategy and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with product owners and cross-functional partners to deliver insights and reporting that inform business decisions and improve payment platforms.
You will be part of a dynamic team focused on enhancing money movement and payments experiences. Your work will help ensure high data quality, consistency, and accessibility, supporting the development of innovative solutions for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Payments Product Owners to understand business needs and deliver actionable data solutions for wires and international payments
- Develop and maintain queries, reports, and dashboards using large database platforms
- Combine and analyze data from multiple sources to deliver descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
- Support the creation and maintenance of data models, ensuring high data quality and consistency
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, operations, and analytics teams to gather requirements and deliver insights
- Communicate complex analytical concepts in a clear, concise manner to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise
- Champion data and analytics best practices within the payments product group
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with two years of analytics experience or three years of related technical experience
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Alteryx, SAS, and Python for data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with large-scale databases such as Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, or AWS
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Foundational understanding of banking and payments industry concepts
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- Experience in banking, payments, operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or finance
- Exposure to machine learning concepts and applications
