Job Summary


As a Client Screening Analyst within the Client List Screening group, you play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s compliance mission. You will review customer demographic information, analyze alerts, and make informed decisions in accordance with established guidelines and policies. Your work ensures the integrity of the firm’s operations and supports global regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct searches across specialized internal and external applications to gather data and record evidence, identifying anomalies such as political affiliations, negative media, and sanction hits.
  • Analyze and investigate alerts generated by screening tools using standard policies and procedures.
  • Work through daily alerts to determine matches to clients and escalate reviews to Level 2 teams as needed.
  • Evaluate potential hits in the Level 2 queue, validate information, and make well-grounded decisions based on guidelines and policies.
  • Connect with Lines of Business or escalate to Level 3 when material hits are identified.
  • Substantiate opinions and dispositions with thorough documentation.
  • Strive to achieve individual and team throughput and quality targets while promoting a strong controls mindset.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with a track record in Compliance, KYC, or Screening.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively within teams and across departments.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and critical thinking skills to accurately identify issues and offer solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline, with proficiency in MS Office.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work in any shift and on weekends as per business needs.
  • Willingness to accept new assignments and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving operational innovation.
