As a Lead Technical Project Manager in Commercial and Investment Banking-Payments Tech, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects that shape the future of the firm.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation

Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Proven track record of applying analytical reasoning and advanced problem-solving techniques to decompose business, technical, or operational objectives into actionable tasks and deliverables.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate project goals, progress, and challenges clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, demonstrated by building productive relationships, managing expectations, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA for project tracking and delivery.
- Comprehensive understanding of technical domains such as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Application Development, with proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle—including influencing decision makers and adapting to evolving business needs.

High technical fluency with familiarity in current and emerging platforms, software tools, and technologies relevant to large-scale enterprise environments.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Telemetry and Observability platforms, including the ability to understand and manage projects involving monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand diverse perspectives, facilitate productive discussions, and drive consensus among technical and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering impactful presentations to senior leadership and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Certification(s) in Agile, PMP, or related fields
