As a Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate Sector Operations & Organizational Management team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex programs that improve the efficiency and operational effectiveness of more than 7,000 technologists in Corporate Technology. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technology principles, practices, and theories, you will develop effective solutions while guiding and collaborating with high-performing teams. Your strong reasoning and adaptability will enable you to navigate ambiguity and change, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with divisional objectives. With advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, you will foster productive relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and strategies, ensuring the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Job responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of the technology division’s organizational design transformation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute detailed program plans, including timelines, and deliverables to achieve target state organizational design.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across a 7,000-person organization to ensure effective communication and implementation of new organizational structures.
- Drive organizational change management, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication to foster adoption of new team topologies and guiding principles.
- Monitor and report on program metrics, progress, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency and timely escalation to leadership.
- Ensure program delivery aligns with principles such as team colocation, optimal team size, span of control, and role alignment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification of program management concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of organizational design principles, team topologies, and change management best practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with program metrics tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to drive efficiency, productivity, and talent growth through structured organizational change .
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Agile methodologies or Program Management formal training or certifications.
- Experience implementing organizational design transformations in large, technology organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
