Communications Executive Director, Chase Wealth Management

Step into the role of Communications Executive Director and support senior leadership and drive messaging for top business priorities. In this critical role, you will develop and execute the executive communications strategy for Chase Wealth Management, which includes over 5,000 advisors and 300 field leaders, working directly with senior executives to ensure consistent messaging across channels that supports business goals and priorities while fostering a culture of collaboration.

As a Communications Executive Director in Chase Wealth Management, you’ll develop trusted relationships at all levels internally; use technology to track engagement of internal communications and offer guidance on the best strategy for reaching target audiences; and uphold a strong commitment to doing the right thing for our clients and employees. You will guide a team of communications professionals dedicated to executive messaging and strategic initiatives, while partnering closely with the field communications team to ensure alignment across channels.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic communications counsel to the Head of Chase Wealth Management, our branch-based and Select Advisors business
  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies that align with business goals and priorities
  • Develop, present and execute strategic and tactical communications that help achieve business objectives, promote culture and drive engagement
  • Coordinate with internal communications team members to pull through meaningful storylines for internal audiences
  • Play a key role in the planning and oversight of internal communications activities, including on-stage executive presentations
  • Protect and enhance the reputation of the firm – both externally and among employees

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years of experience in a communications role
  • Ability to develop and implement cohesive and effective communication strategies that resonate with key audiences.
  • Excellent writing and editing abilities and verbal communications skills, with demonstrated ability to influence C-suite leaders
  • Experience directly supporting senior executives with external and/or internal communications
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and keep deliverables on track / flag potential delays
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company
  • Ability to effectively manage and grow direct reports
  • High level of integrity, demonstrating respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and for taking accountability
  • Experience with applying measurement tools to demonstrate success
  • Solutions-minded and outcomes oriented
  • Negotiation and influencing skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Experience working in a large company with a broadly distributed organizational model
  • Experience developing communications for, and working with, advisors
