Fund Accounting Analyst

As a Fund Accounting Analyst, you'll serve as a vital resource for the business and client-facing stakeholders. You'll act as the liaison between the business, technology, control partners, and operations. The analyst is responsible for managing their assigned portfolio and incorporating new data relative to accounting, taxes, and operations into the pricing models. Candidates must be able to provide and communicate solutions (in person, by phone, and by email) in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze partnership tax returns and financial statements
  • Incorporate financial results to pricing models for assigned transactions
  • Become proficient in the intricacies of the transactions and understand deal structures and risks
  • Work directly with outside clients on a regular basis to solve issues related to assigned deals
  • Work with technology group to implement new functionality to systems
  • Ensure the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries
  • Address ad hoc queries from operations and technology

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 years of financial industry experience; tax experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economy
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet technologies
  • Highly disciplined, a self-starter, and the ability to execute on assignments independently
  • A team player who demonstrates work ethic and consistently demonstrates a high-level of professionalism
  • Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the Line of Business
  • Strong analytical skills
