As a Sr. Lead Software Engineer in the Prime Financial Services Data & Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering secure, scalable technology products. You will work within an agile team to drive critical solutions across multiple technical domains, supporting our business objectives. Your expertise will help build trusted applications and data products, while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to influence technical direction and contribute to our team’s success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems
  • Lead the design, build, delivery, and deployment of high-performing applications for Prime business needs, including Trading Strategies and Data Product delivery within the Data Mesh architecture
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
  • Identify opportunities to automate or eliminate recurring issues, improving operational stability
  • Lead evaluation sessions to assess architectural designs and technical credentials for integration with existing systems
  • Drive communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote new and leading-edge technologies
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, PySpark, or SQL
  • Expertise in data solutions using AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, MWAA, etc.)
  • Strong experience in designing, developing, testing, and managing mission-critical operational data flows
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Skilled in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems
  • Practical experience with cloud-native technologies

  • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
  • Familiarity with strategic Data Mesh architectures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
  • Experience with data product delivery in financial services
