The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is pivotal in advancing the firm's data and analytics capabilities, ensuring strong adherence to data & AI risk & control while enabling the data & analytics strategy for superior decision-making and business outcomes to serve our clients and markets. The Asia Pacific Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) advances the firm’s data and analytics strategy, platforms, solutions, capabilities, and governance to deliver trustworthy, responsible, innovative, and commercially value outcomes across the APAC markets and businesses.

As Client and User Experience – Vice President, the role is responsible shaping and delivering the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of data & AI products with relentless focus on client and user experience, ensuring data and AI solutions deliver exceptional value, usability, and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will leverage design thinking, prototyping, and UI/UX best practices in user experience design, client engagement, and data/AI product management to drive innovation and adoption across the firm’s offerings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute and enable a comprehensive client and user experience strategy for Data & AI products, aligned with business objectives and market trends for the APAC businesses and functions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams in designing intuitive, impactful, and differentiated experiences for clients and users, from onboarding through ongoing engagement.
  • Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, personas, and workflows to visualize and iterate on product and solutions concepts, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements and business goals
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless, user-centric solutions from ideation through launch
  • Establish and monitor key experience metrics, leveraging insights to continuously improve products and services.
  • Utilize analytics and user feedback to monitor product performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive ongoing enhancements to the client journey.
  • Advocate for a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging rapid prototyping and iterative development to quickly test and refine new ideas.
  • Ensure all products and solutions comply with regulatory, security, and data privacy requirements.
  • Drive initiatives to simplify complex data and AI workflows, making products accessible to a broad range of users.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform experience strategy.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Design or a related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in user experience, product management, UI/UX design roles ideally within data, AI, or technology-driven environments.
  • Strong expertise in design thinking, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into intuitive, user-friendly solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and user insights to inform product decisions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Human-Computer Interaction is preferred
  • Experience in financial services.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in data and AI products.
  • Advanced knowledge of UX/UI design tools and frameworks.
