Job Summary:
As a Manager of Software Engineering, you will lead multiple teams and oversee day-to-day implementation activities. You will provide guidance on daily tasks, set expectations for team output and collaboration, and ensure work aligns with compliance standards and business requirements. You will anticipate dependencies, manage stakeholder relationships, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will empower teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions that support the firm’s objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide software engineering teams on daily tasks, activities, and technical challenges to ensure consistent progress and quality.
  • Set clear expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Anticipate and manage dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements and timelines.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring team deliverables meet compliance standards, service level agreements, and business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of state-of-the-art AI/ML/LLM/GenAI solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Develop and maintain automated pipelines for model deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency across teams.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and operational resiliency to drive efficient and secure software delivery.
  • Mentor and develop team members, supporting their growth and professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and operational stability.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Professional experience with Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and JavaScript (React), with experience across the software development life cycle.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3), including containerized application deployment and operational best practices.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML/LLM/GenAI solutions.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated pipelines for model deployment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Python.
  • Experience leading teams in a large, complex organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
