Lead KYC change initiatives that enable market expansion—streamline processes, strengthen governance, and ensure compliance while accelerating delivery.

As a Change Senior Associate within the Wholesale KYC Operations team, you are responsible for supporting and promoting change initiatives within Know Your Customer (KYC) operations for wholesale banking, with a particular emphasis on market expansion.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and support change initiatives within Wholesale KYC Operations to enable successful market expansion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Compliance, Technology, Business, Operations) to deliver process improvements and regulatory changes tailored to new markets
  • Prepare comprehensive internal governance reports, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead governance meetings, facilitating discussions and decision-making processes to align with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor actions and ensure timely completion across stakeholders, maintaining accountability and adherence to deadlines.
  • Oversee and coordinate respective project working groups, ensuring effective collaboration and progress towards goals.
  • Analyze current KYC processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, especially in the context of expanding into new geographies or client segments
  • Assist in project management activities related to market expansion, including planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Document business requirements, process flows, and change impacts for KYC-related projects, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements in new markets
  • Support training and communication efforts related to new processes, policies, or systems required for market entry
  • Ensure all changes are compliant with internal policies and external regulations, including those specific to new markets
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in AML, Compliance, Fraud, KYC, or Operational Risk within financial services
  • Ability to drive data-driven initiatives and foster collaboration among stakeholders, utilizing influence and project management skills
  • Expertise in leveraging AI, machine learning, and process automation to enhance data analysis and streamline workflows
  • Strong adaptability and resilience in dynamic, high-pressure environments, with interpersonal skills to motivate teams and negotiate effective solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in developing quantitative reports and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Process improvement and change management

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
