Product Specialists (former Business Analysts) are the drivers of our continued growth and success. With their commitment to innovation, these analysts seek, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity across Business, Operations and Finance. We’re currently searching for an experienced Product Specialist / Business Analyst to help guide our organization to the future. From researching / discovering systems solutions to evaluating their impacts, the ideal candidate will be a detailed oriented, good communicator, and top-notch analyst, with Markets knowledge in FX & Securities Products. This person should also be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing technology landscape. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to support LATAM Markets Technology in delivering value to our internal Stakeholders, more specifically with our Product Owners and Engineering Teams, as well as several areas outside of Technology that we support. In addition, you will also interact with Business Senior Managers as a Technology point-person in some instances. Just as importantly, you'll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Objectives of this role
  • Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of existing data
  • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes / flows, suggesting solutions, identifying impacts and dependencies for our Product initiatives
  • Constant communications with our Product Owners as well as our different Stakeholders, whether they are in the Business or Supporting Areas (Operations, Finance, Controls other Technology Teams)
  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
  • Improve Users’ technology experiences by creating new relationships with our Stakeholders, improving the level of attention and support they have today
Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations
Required skills and qualifications
  • Seven or more years of experience in Business analyses and Markets product knowledge
  • Proven analytical abilities
  • Ability to understand business processes and map them to solutions;
  • Experience in generating process documentation and reports
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to work with local, regional and global teams to articulate solutions
  • Knowledge of Financial Market vendors and structure (SetFX, SIOPEL, for example), experience with Trading products and Back-Office solutions
  • Experience with JIRA boards and tools
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
  • Extensive experience with data visualization
  • Proficiency in technical writing
  • Proven Experience with Agile methodologies 3-5 years
  • Knowledge of systems development
  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex initiatives
  • Experience working in a Product Oriented Organization with multiple disciplines and roles
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology related field of study or equivalent work experience
