Summary

J.P. Morgan’s Fund Services business provides asset manager and asset owner clients with operational expertise, market-leading technology, and robust data infrastructure to support trade processing, asset servicing, investment recordkeeping, fund accounting, reporting, and analytics. The Project Manager will be part of the Product Development team, reporting to the Fund Services Program Manager, and will join a team of project managers and business analysts responsible for executing projects to develop global platforms for APAC clients and manage client-specific initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product development initiatives for the APAC fund services core accounting backlog.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for end-to-end accounting and tax solutions within fund services.
  • Manage stakeholders and influence end-state outcomes.
  • Direct and influence design strategy, converting concepts into tangible solutions.
  • Lead analysis of problem statements and design effective solutions.
  • Own business requirements, design, test planning, and execution phases of technology delivery.
  • Drive operational engagement and provide detailed input into ‘To-Be’ operating model design.
  • Escalate and resolve issues and risks as required.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Operations SMEs to optimize cross-functional operating models and execute projects end-to-end.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Fund Accounting and APAC client needs; knowledge of the competitive landscape for fund accounting services preferred.
  • Functional experience with InvestOne Fund Accounting platform preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, process modeling tools (e.g., Lucid), and other analytics tools.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and other project management tools.
  • Effective team player with proven ability to drive operational change.
  • Ability to navigate a matrix organization, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive issues through to resolution.
