As a Development Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in Digital Investment Banking within the Global Banking team, you will work in an agile environment to enhance, design, and deliver state-of-the-art technology products. You will execute software solutions through design, development, and troubleshooting across multiple components and systems. You’ll gain valuable skills and experience to grow within your role. Job Responsibilities:
- Apply Agile software methodologies to deliver solutions
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python
- Develop using frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or Angular
- Build cloud native or cloud ready applications using AWS
- Utilize container technologies such as Kubernetes
- Execute software design, development, testing, and deployment
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot with consideration for system integration
- Break down solutions and solve technical problems using your expertise
- Contribute to a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
- Exposure to CI/CD tools, application resiliency, and security
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Working proficiency in development toolsets
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes, especially cloud native solutions (AWS)
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, and testing
- Understanding of industry technology trends and best practices
- Ability to collaborate in large teams to achieve goals
- Passion for building an innovative culture
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts

- Experience in platform or product development
