Join our Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) team as a Loan Servicing Specialist III, where you will play a key role in processing complex loan transactions across various market segments. This mid-level processing role involves handling monetary transactions, conducting in-depth research, and maintaining system integrity. As a Loan Servicing Specialist III within our dynamic loan processing team, you will be tasked with the processing of complex loan transactions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our loan systems. Collaborating closely with internal partners, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to various market segments, including Business Banking, Global Wealth Management, Investment Banking, and Commercial Banking.
Job Responsibilities
- Create PDF batch work for quality control and document repositories
- Booking new loans and completing transactions on existing loans
- Reviewing and processing various forms of monetary related transactions on the applicable commercial loan systems
- Completing transactions and transferring funds to internal general ledger, internal accounts and external accounts
- Process transactions for customer relationships using the ACBS, Loan IQ, Servicing Express, VLS loan systems
- Exhibit exceptional customer service skills: Customer contact focuses on high volume or unique activities requiring interaction with internal market and credit partners. (Ability to calculate interest and fee accruals for billing is required for this role)
- Handle miscellaneous debits and credits as they relate to loan funding
- Research detailed requests from our line of business partners related to processed transactions.
- Resolves transaction exceptions or rejects
- Ensure responsible for meeting service level expectations in addition to team individual productivity and quality goals
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Successfully complete all periodic High Value Business Entitlements (HBVE) background checks.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in loan operations and/or quality control in banking or financial services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to internal tracking and monitoring systems.
- Possess knowledge of ACBS and/or Loan IQ systems.
- Understand US Dollar and Foreign Currency Loans.
- Have a working knowledge of legal and credit documents.
- Ability to interpret standard reports and forms.
- Exhibit exceptional customer service skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Maintain high performance levels in stressful and high-volume environments, with attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred.
