As an Associate Program Manager in the Corporate and Investment Bank Finance and Business Management Program Management team, you plan, govern and deliver the firm’s risk data aggregation and risk reporting program in partnership with leaders across technology, risk, finance and operations. This Program team is responsible for end-to-end project management and governance of the BCBS 239 implementation plan. You will coordinate decision‑making forums, drive execution and provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders. Together, we will strengthen our ability to aggregate risk data and report with accuracy, speed and confidence.
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate program and working group meetings, set agendas, prepare materials, capture decisions and actions.
- Establish and run governance routines, ensuring clear ownership across workstreams and dependent teams.
- Build and maintain project charters and define roles and responsibilities for delivery.
- Plan, track and drive execution of implementation plans across cross‑functional teams.
- Create and maintain core delivery artifacts including statements of work, governance and communication plans.
- Lead working sessions to resolve issues, confirm scope and align timelines.
- Produce concise status updates, scorecards and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify, log and manage risks, issues and interdependencies; escalate with options and impacts.
- Foster strong relationships with partners across markets, private banking, asset management and shared functions.
- Provide analytical support and guidance to stakeholders; facilitate clear communication across teams.
- Champion process efficiencies and automation using appropriate tools and methods.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated program and project management experience delivering complex, cross‑functional change.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and exercise sound judgment in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and present to senior stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and executive‑ready materials.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including data management and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating effectively across diverse teams.
- Relationship‑building skills with experience partnering across technology, risk, finance, operations and data governance.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and articulate decisions, assumptions and trade‑offs clearly.
- Experience supporting regulatory programs focused on risk data aggregation and risk reporting.
- Attention to detail with disciplined execution and follow‑through, including action and dependency tracking.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with the Basel Committee standard on risk data aggregation and risk reporting, also known as BCBS 239.
- Experience in the Corporate and Investment Bank ecosystem, including front‑to‑back transaction flows.
- Working knowledge of securities and derivatives products.
- Proficiency with workflow and data tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Alteryx and Tableau.
- Experience building program scorecards, dashboards and executive materials.
- Exposure to legal‑entity strategy or large‑scale regulatory implementations.
- Knowledge of finance, risk, operations and regulatory reporting processes.
