Job summary: As an Analytics Solutions Associate in our F&BM Strategic Operational Data Intelligence team, you will support the design and delivery of impactful data solutions and contribute to strategic decision‑making. You will balance structure and best practices with pragmatic execution, working with a diverse team to deliver high‑impact projects that empower business decisions and innovation. Key responsibilities

  • Document current state processes and capture data lineage.
  • Translate data requirements into actionable plans and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Apply data governance and data quality controls under guidance.
  • Participate in data warehouse lifecycle activities: sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction.
  • Use industry‑standard tools for data ingestion, streaming, storage, and visualization.
  • Integrate and operationalize data solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Glue, AWS Lambda).
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative analytics projects.
  • Communicate status, risks, and priorities effectively; influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent education and/or professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in business systems analysis or in designing and developing business applications.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience with SQL and Python (or another programming language) in a professional setting.
  • Working understanding of banking operations; exposure to payment processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of relational database design; experience with large‑scale data warehouses is a plus.
  • Proven ability to produce current state documentation and capture data lineage.
  • Understanding of best practices in data governance and data quality management.
  • Practical experience with data warehousing processes (sourcing, loading, transformation, extraction) and tools for ingestion, streaming, storage, orchestration, and visualization.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based data solutions and modern data architectures (e.g., AWS Glue, AWS Lambda; Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Mesh).
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience delivering within strategic front‑to‑back programs.
  • Understanding of core metadata and data quality principles; familiarity with data transfer and profiling technologies.
  • Experience promoting and working within lean and agile SDLC practices.
  • Broad financial services experience and awareness of current banking industry challenges.
