As a Business Analysis Associate I in the Business Analysis team, you help us translate business needs into clear requirements, rigorous tests, and reliable production outcomes. You partner with product, technology, and control functions to plan and deliver changes that improve customer and colleague experiences. You lead discovery, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and champion accessibility and quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will develop your leadership by coaching analysts and steering initiatives from due diligence through post‑release validation.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for system enhancements and business change initiatives
- Lead and coach a team of analysts to deliver high‑quality outcomes
- Liaise with business, product, technology, and control partners to align on scope and decisions
- Drive discovery and due diligence; document process impacts and create clear process flows and materials
- Draft concise business requirements and secure stakeholder approvals (legal, compliance, risk, controls)
- Translate requirements into user stories and define/approve acceptance criteria in partnership with product and technology
- Plan and oversee User Acceptance Testing, including test case design, data staging, and execution timelines
- Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing; document findings and guide remediation to meet ADA standards
- Coordinate deployment readiness and support release activities; validate post‑production checklists and reporting
- Monitor post‑release performance to confirm enhancements function as expected
- Triage and manage production incidents; analyze issues and partner with technology support teams to resolve
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 4 years experience in software testing, including requirements analysis, test design, test preparation, test execution, and defect management
- 2 years experience leading testing projects or workstreams
- Hands‑on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and managing test cycles in tools such as Jira or qTest
- Proven experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing with cross‑functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to create process flows and clear documentation for diverse audiences
- Experience partnering with legal, compliance, risk, and controls to obtain approvals and ensure adherence to standards
- Familiarity with accessibility testing practices and collaborating with developers and designers on remediation
- Proficiency in Agile ways of working and collaboration within Agile teams
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in time‑sensitive environments and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in financial services or mortgage servicing domains
- Experience using Structured Query Language and related tools (Teradata, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, Toad) for data validation
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (UFT, LoadRunner, JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber)
- Experience with integrated development environments and version control (Eclipse, Bitbucket)
- Experience producing post‑release reporting and metrics for stakeholders
- Experience documenting and improving operational processes across default and servicing systems
- Experience facilitating workshops for requirements discovery and test case design
