As a Credit Office Analyst in Risk Management and Compliance, you help JPMorgan Chase grow its business responsibly by evaluating credit applications and making informed credit decisions. You play a key role in facilitating Small Business loan portfolio growth and maintaining asset quality. You will use your expert judgment to solve challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities. In this role, you will work
Job responsibilities:
- Analyze and provide credit decisions on Retail and Wholesale client credit relationships with exposure up to $500,000, including existing and new transactions. May involve general knowledge of the client, its industry and credit needs.
- Provides input to the structure and terms of the relevant credit products extended to clients.
- Prepares data, metrics and KPIs for relevant products and processes, escalating concerns as required.
- May support portfolio management functions through analysis of business financial statements, industry information and information derived from client correspondence.
- Contributes to running complex credit related models highlighting anomalies or areas of concern to management.
- Assists in preparing quantitative and qualitative credit analysis.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting
- At least three years of prior credit review and analysis experience
- Knowledge in spreading business and personal financial statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and judgment skills
- Proficiency in organizing, priority-setting, and issues management
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of bank systems and loan/credit operations
- Strong self-motivation and results-oriented team player
- Strong typing skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Manila CPA Certification
- Prior business credit experience
