Job Summary
Join our team as a Vice President in the Benefits & Wellness group, where you will support the management and execution of innovative benefits and wellness programs that enhance employee well-being. You will play a key role in shaping a culture of health and wellness, ensuring our programs are effective, engaging, and aligned with company policies and employee needs. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, data analysis, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement to foster a culture of wellness and benefits awareness.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive and support the implementation and management of benefits programs
- Identify areas for program enhancements; lead evaluations of benefits offerings or program enhancements, including conducting research and analysis, defining success measures, and preparing materials for senior management review and approval.
- Monitor trends and emerging employer innovation opportunities in the benefits and wellness space.
- Assist in identifying employee health and behavior trends across programs, correlating data points to support a holistic health and behavior profile of employees
- Work with the broader benefits team to develop and implement innovative ways to engage employees in their overall well-being.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders from different functions, both regional and global, to support the benefits and wellness agenda.
- Partner with key internal teams including Benefits Delivery, Wellness, Communications, HR Technology, IT Security, Legal, Sourcing, Product, and Employee Experience.
- Develop and monitor metrics for measuring ongoing performance and effectiveness of benefits offerings and initiatives, ensuring consistency in measurement methodologies and objective comparison of financial performance/metrics between vendors/programs.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support the design and launch of new programs & help achieve optimal commercial outcomes and quality delivery from our vendors in alignment with contracts..
- Support the development of a performance scorecard for vendors, incorporating key SLAs and timelines, and assist in periodic performance reviews. and manage contracts and related processes, including contracting, approvals, onboarding, invoicing, and reporting.
- Maintain a strong control posture to manage risk both internally and through vendor exposure, both contractual and operational and assist in developing and implementing communication strategies to promote wellness and benefits programs and engage employees.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum 7 years’ work experience in corporate benefits, benefits consulting, or health plan/health insurance roles.
- Strong understanding of the benefits and wellness landscape, including trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in a strategic, analytical, and metric-driven environment.
- Experience facilitating or supporting large corporate procurement projects in the benefits and wellness space, including vendor implementation and management.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, project manage, meet deadlines, and manage multiple deliverables.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel with strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Large firm experience, preferably with matrix reporting structures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with a particular focus on strategy and analytics, with the ability to perform quantitative analysis and data interpretation.
