As an Applied AI/ML Lead within the Applied AI/ML team, you design and deliver trusted, scalable AI solutions that advance our business objectives. You partner closely with cross-functional teams and use inclusive, collaborative practices to turn complex data into actionable outcomes. This role is based in Bengaluru with a 2pm–11pm IST schedule to support business needs.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end applied AI/ML solution design to solve complex business problems
  • Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights
  • Select and optimize algorithms and model architectures for diverse business use cases
  • Build and deploy prototypes and production-grade models and applications that deliver business value
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear, concise presentations
  • Partner across business, technology, and compliance teams to integrate AI/ML into workflows and drive adoption
  • Mentor and manage team members to foster innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Economics
  • 9+ years of applied machine learning and data science experience delivering production-grade solutions
  • Expertise in Python and PySpark with proven ability to build production-ready analytical applications
  • Experience analyzing very large structured and unstructured datasets using quantitative and statistical methods
  • Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in enterprise environments
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience (hiring, mentoring, performance management)
  • Demonstrated experience presenting analytical findings to senior stakeholders and communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with Agentic AI and Generative AI frameworks and applications
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models into business workflows and production ecosystems
  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor on analytics, AI/ML, and emerging technologies
  • Strong project management skills with delivery under tight timelines
