As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of pre- and post-trading life cycles across all asset classes, with a primary focus on cash movements in and out of client accounts and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts. You will coordinate with other business lines to ensure proper funding, applying your knowledge of trade lifecycle processes to identify and resolve issues while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. Your success will depend on your ability to actively listen, ask insightful questions, and establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as manage projects and influence outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of market products and emerging technologies, directly impacting the team's goals and performance. Job responsibilities
  • Execute start-of-day process checks and coordinate reporting and escalations.
  • Validate and approve trades in accordance with policies and controls.
  • Monitor and resolve exceptions promptly.
  • Manage reconciliation breaks by investigating, coordinating fixes, and clearing items.
  • Conduct independent process reviews and implement updates and control enhancements.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of bank loan and private placements trade processing, settlements, and administrative functions, including reconciliation of cash and positions.
  • Apply knowledge of private credit or direct lending to support accurate processing and risk management.
  • Prepare and deliver stakeholder reports across functions and regions.
  • Manage shared mailbox communications, triage inquiries, and ensure timely responses.
  • Produce and analyze daily KPI and metrics reports to track performance and drive improvements.
  • Work flexible US business hours to support stakeholders and critical processing windows.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across cross‑functional and global teams, partnering effectively with peers, managers, and LOB/functional stakeholders.
  • Work independently with a proactive mindset, seeking guidance when appropriate; demonstrate initiative and a positive, growth‑oriented outlook.
  • Manage escalations end‑to‑end by liaising with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely, effective resolution.
  • Deliver client‑centric outcomes while maintaining strong risk awareness, exceptional attention to detail, and a high degree of professionalism.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of investment and securities products, financial markets, and market data providers.
  • Communicate fluently in English (verbal and written) and leverage advanced Microsoft Office skills—especially Excel, including macros.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in Economics or Industrial Engineering enhancing understanding of complex financial operations.
  • Experience in finance industry operations, demonstrating capability in managing and optimizing financial processes.
  • Worked and desire to work in an automated Processing environment
