Join the Capital Markets Product Controller team within Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) for a dynamic opportunity to support several trading businesses across multiple asset classes.
As a Senior Associate in the Capital Markets Product Controller team, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of each Line of Business's books and records. You will also be managing reconciliations, balance sheet and revenue forecasting (Tracker, Budget, Forecast, CCAR/stress testing) and support of monthly and quarterly regulatory submissions. In this role, you will have regular interaction with various stakeholders such as Front Office, Middle Office, Market Risk, Capital Markets Technology, Finance, Controllers, Treasury and Planning & Analysis teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Publish official daily P&L and market risk reporting for multiple Capital Markets trading businesses in CCB
- Reconcile P&L and positions to general ledger
- Provide detailed analysis in context of market dynamics and reporting on financials
- Partner with each business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Drive coordination across various front and back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as an analytical and product support resource
- Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Finance and/or Controller role
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency to present finding and recommendations to senior management
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Prior experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or related roles within financial services
- Strong understanding of Mortgage and/or Auto Capital Markets
- Working knowledge of risk-based P&L attribution
