Job summary
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, you will design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and AWS cloud solutions. You will leverage automation tools to deliver secure and scalable infrastructure, contributing to innovative technology initiatives.
Job responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across on-premises, AWS cloud, and hybrid environments
- Develop, test, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm charts
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jules, Spinnaker, and Jenkins
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters using Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, and Splunk
- Configure and troubleshoot networking, security policies, CNI plugins, ingress controllers, and service meshes
- Develop and maintain SQL solutions using PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, Teradata, or other RDBMS technologies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
applied experience as a DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform
- Proficient on AWS Cloud Platform, with system design, application, tools, interface, and modules development, testing, problem solving, and operational stability
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Helm chart
- Experience in Terraform, Python, and Shell scripting technologies
- Experience with Kubernetes services, deployments, failover mechanisms, networking, security policies, including CNI plugins, ingress controllers, and service meshes
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jules, Spinnaker, and Jenkins
- Strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, Teradata, or other RDBMS technologies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Databricks
- Exposure to modern front-end technologies
- Experience with cloud technologies beyond AWS
- Knowledge of advanced Kubernetes networking and service mesh solutions
